Fife Country has taken great care to present the products on our website as accurately as possible but the images you see will depend on your computer equipment.
By submitting an order to us through our website you represent and warrant that the payment details provided are valid and correct and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full.
All prices shown on the website are in Sterling, are inclusive of VAT at 20%, where applicable, and may change from time to time. We reserve the right to change prices if there is a change to the rate of VAT and do our best to ensure that prices are correctly shown. However, very occasionally, a pricing or special offer error may occur. In this unlikely eventuality, we will attempt to contact you at the e-mail address you gave us when you placed your order. If we cannot contact you, or if we receive no response to our e-mail, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order.
Special Offers and Promotions
Special Offers cannot normally be used in conjunction with any other promotion. Promotion Codes cannot be used in conjunction with Special Offers and can only be applied to full priced items. Where free delivery is offered this is for UK mainland, standard delivery only.
All of the products featured on our website have been selected for Online shopping. If an item sells out we will take it off the website promptly. If items that you order should be out of stock, or delayed for any reason, we will try to contact you at the e-mail you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you, or receive no response to our e-mail, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order.All items are subject to availability.
Standard Delivery charge £4.95
Providing goods are in stock, delivery of orders are normally within 3-5 workings days, however due to Covid 19 it may take up to 10 working days. Standard delivery charges are £4.95 to any address within the UK. We will contact you if delivery will be longer than this period stated.
If we receive your order in time to despatch it by 12 noon, your order will be delivered the next day. The supplement for this service is £4 in addition to the standard delivery charge. [Unfortunately this service is not available to the Scottish Islands].
We accept Visa Debit, Visa Credit, Maestro and Mastercard.
We take payment from your card at the time we process your order ready for despatch.
Accepting your order
The acceptance of your order will be deemed to occur on allocation of the goods to your order. The completion of the contract between you and us will occur when the order is despatched, unless you have cancelled the order- in accordance with our instructions.
We will send you an e-mail acknowledging your order, once it has passed through our security checks.
We may not accept your order for one of the following reasons:
We may have been unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
The product you ordered may be out of stock.
We may have identified a pricing or product description error.
Cancelling your order
If you would like to cancel your order please contact our Customer Services Department by calling 0345 607 6632 or by returning your acknowledgement e-mail to us stating your intention to cancel your order.
Fife Country always makes a great effort to process orders immediately and it may not always be possible to stop an order being dispatched in time. In this instance please return the order following the returns instructions and the returns form, contained in the parcel.

This Site allows you to purchase our products and services online. Therefore, while we make conscientious and reasonable efforts to prevent compromise of our policy, we do not, and cannot, guarantee the security or accuracy of the information we collect via this Site, and you acknowledge that you are assuming the risk in transmitting any information to us.
Personal information you provide us will only be used by for the purposes of processing your order and, if requested, in mailing lists for catalogues. We never pass any of this information to third parties. We also send out regular newsletters if you give us permission to do so on the order form, when checking out.
Data Protection Act
We fully comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 in respect of any information we hold.
We will exchange or refund your money on any purchase with which you are not wholly satisfied, within 3 months of purchase, on the one condition that the item in question remains as new. Please note that goods are returned at your own cost, and that we recommend the use of a registered postal service for your protection. If the goods are being returned due to an error on our part we will refund your return delivery costs.
How to Make a Return
Along with your order we will enclose a returns form, which is simple to use, and includes all the necessary instructions for making your return. If you need another returns form, please call our customer services number on 0345 607 6632.
Postage or other return costs will only be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

Safety Footwear VAT Rules
Safety boots are VAT rated 0% "Not Exempt of VAT" when purchased by an individual for industrial use. These must not be supplied to persons for use by their employees (buying for employees requires the purchaser to pay VAT by law), Purchases by VAT registered companies for safety boots must be paid & reclaimed in the usual way, Finally these rules do not apply to safety shoes or safety trainers, these products require a 20% VAT Payment no exceptions.
Simply put, if you're ordering safety boots for your own work use - you are exempt from paying VAT. If you are an employer purchasing safety boots for your employees, then this exemption does not apply and you should pay VAT at the prevailing rate.
