Handmade Footwear

Handmade 'welted' footwear is made in the traditional way, using time-honoured skills developed over centuries worth of craftsmanship. Most of our welted footwear is from the Hoggs of Fife range, expertly made, featuring over 200 individual manual operations per shoe. The leathers chosen improve with age and each shoe becomes unique to the wearer, as it moulds and shapes to fit the wearer’s foot. Hoggs of Fife footwear is designed to last, and waterproof leathers, hardwearing soles and watertight designs feature strongly.
