Our Cookie Policy

Our cookies do not store sensitive information such as paswords, your name, address or payment details: they simply hold the 'key' that, once you're signed in, is associated with this information. PHPSESSID

This is the core cookie that is used to deliver the customer experience across the site, it saves your shopping list and temporary preferences. It is essential to the running of the website. The cookie is attached to the customer browser session, in the main there is no personally identifiable information saved in the cookie. This will change in the future when we introduce member login and therefore basic information will be held, for the period while the customer is signed into the website.

TestCookie

Simple cookie that does not hold personal information, but is attached to the browser used. It simply holds the response that confirms your acceptance of use of cookies from Fife Country.

firstlogincookie, secondloginCookie, thirdloginCookie

A series of cookies, none hold personal information, just a timestamp. They are simply used to track how many times a customer has visited the home page. On the third visit a pop up will trigger asking for newsletter sign up. After which it will not show again. Thirdlogincookie stops further pop-ups.

recentlyviewed

This does not carry personal information. It is a simple list of encoded products that have been viewed along with a time stamp which sets the cookie to auto expire after 7 days.

Google Analytics Cookies

Google Double-click

Social Widgets -

This site uses Social Widgets to enable users to engage with content from our website on various Social Platforms. We have widgets for Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The way we implement a widget includes using script which is not hosted on the 4Ps Marketing website. You should understand that it is likely that these scripts collect information about your behaviour across the internet, including our site. If you click these buttons on our or any website the platform will record and register that action. Where you are logged in your behaviour (i.e. the page on our site you visit) may be recorded by the platform you are signed into.   • Then select the Privacy icon
  • Click on Cookies, then select 'allow sites to set cookies'

PC Users

Open the internet as usual. In the tool bar at the top of your browser click 'Help' and choose the 'About' option from the drop down. This will tell you the browser type and version. Once you know the browser you are using you can find the cookie settings using the guide below relevant for your browser:

Google Chrome

  • Click on 'Tools' at the top of your browser window and select Options
  • Click the 'Under the Hood' tab, locate the 'Privacy' section, and select the 'Content settings' button
  • Now select 'Allow local data to be set'

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • Click on 'Tools' at the top of your browser window and select 'Internet options' , then click on the 'Privacy' tab
  • Ensure that your Privacy level is set to Medium or below, which will enable cookies in your browser
  • Settings above Medium will disable cookies

Mozilla Firefox

  • Click on 'Tools' at the top of your browser window and select Options
  • Then select the Privacy icon
  • Click on Cookies, then select 'allow sites to set cookies'

Safari

  • Click on the Cog icon at the top of your browser window and select the 'Preferences' option
  • Click on 'Security', check the option that says 'Block third-party and advertising cookies'
  • Click 'Save'

Enabling Cookies on android Internet

Tap on the 'Settings' application from your home screen or under 'Apps'.

  • Under the 'Device' section tap on the 'Applications' menu item.
  • Find and tap the 'Internet' menu item.
  • Find and tap the 'Privacy' menu item. Enable 'Accept cookies'.
