I bought one having read the reviews and being tired of wearing coats that do not keep me warm. It came promptly and fitted the bill perfectly. My wife who really feels the cold tried it on and has now bought one as well. Ordered Sunday, delivered Wednesday. She is now very happy too!

Very swift delivery from ordering. Extremely pleased with overall quality of this product. The beading around the collar and either side of the zip is excellent too - but perhaps could have been extended to the cuffs. Full marks!

I recently purchased the Ghillie Quilt Lined Jacket through the £30 off special offer. Upon arrival I tried it on but it was too small so contacted Fife Country to exchange it for the next size up. A prepaid Royal Mail tracking label was immediately emailed to me for its return which was excellent service. The replacement arrived a few days later and not only is the quality excellent but it is well designed and extremely comfortable. I shall certainly be purchasing other items in the very near future.

I ordered a new Ghillie Fleece. My last waterproof fleece which I had used for many winters looked well worn and shabby when I got it out ready for this winter.
Time to get a new one, It was easy to order and arrived very quickly, it was just what I wanted. I don't think the company will like this but it looks as if it will last as long as the old one.
That does not mean I won't be contacting them again soon, they are my go to place for outdoor gear and apart from usual activities, I am a regular hill and long distance walker so get through outdoor kit quicker than most.

For once it’s very satisfying to receive and wear a quality, professionally well made garment that “does exactly what it says on the tin” at an affordable price.

I have recently purchased 2 fleece lined shirts and a field pro jacket. Probably the best winter clothing I have ever bought. The fit is perfect and colours and style are super cool! Purchased to assist in keeping warm and dry in this awful weather and I'm not at all disappointed. The size I chose fits just right. The jacket is made to a high standard using quality materials and certainly does what the description states.

About a fortnight ago I responded to your advertisement in the National, and ordered a 3XL Ghillie fleece. I have long been a fleece fan but have always accepted that they were not waterproof and that their inner surface made them sometimes hard to put on straight- here was a fleece that promised better. It arrived a few days later and I was immediately delighted. My wife said "that's magnificent!. So I am gratefully impressed.

This is a lovely jacket of excellent quality. I did order a 2XL for my husband but it came up a bit tight across the tummy so I sent it back in exchange for a 3XL. There was no hassle and I received the new size and my husband is extremely pleased with it.

I saw the Ghillie II in the BASC magazine being offered at £30 off. Thought I would give it a try, what a quality item, lined, 3 zip pockets on outside and one on inside so no risk of loosing phone, keys or wallet. The padded lining also goes down inside the arms to wrist band, so much more substantial that a standard fleece. Also a high thick collar. Better than a Berghaus I bought a few years back.

We are delighted with both coats we ordered for my husband, the Sportsman jacket and the Ghillie fleece. Both are of high quality and design that look and feel good. They are everything we expected and more.

A splendid fleece which infact is more than just "a fleece". Everything in the product description is absolutely true - waterproof and windproof. You will feel warm as soon as you put this on. Might have to order another one, one for wash, one for wear.

I had an old version now only good for bonfires so was thrilled to find this updated, very comfortable and warm, jacket which is Teflon coated, has a perfect zip pocket in and out and much better inner cuffs. Thank you so much

At last I have found something to keep me warm in the UK. Good quality and well made product, with a much stronger zip. Fits me perfectly. The service from Fife Country was also very good. Ordered on a Monday and delivered within four days.

Excellent fleece, well made and very warm a sturdy zip that feels like it will last and not fail like my two previous sealand fleeces did, all in all excellent quality and feels like it will last quite a few years very pleased with the fleece and the price in the sale.

We only recently discovered Fife clothing. I bought my husband a Fife fleece for Christmas which he really liked. The Ghillie jacket was bought last week. We ordered several items on Monday and by Wednesday they had arrived. Excellent quality and stylish too. A firm favourite in the wardrobe.

Bought some hiking shoes last year and just bought a waterproof ghillie, aka fleecie!, and both have turned out to be excellent quality for the price. When they say warm and/or waterproof they definitely are! Will be buying again from Fife.

Got this for my husband for Christmas. He only needs to wear a tee shirt underneath as it's so warm and a jumper would be too much. He is very pleased with this jacket. I will definitely recommend this company.

I have just bought the blue jacket which as expected fits perfectly. My green one is almost 10 years old, and has taken everything nature has thrown at it, including days of cold and rain and has never let a drop of water in.

This jacket is of an exceptional quality. I've seen jackets more than twice the price not getting close. It may not have any hip and cool logo's on display but this jacket doesn't need it. Noted an earlier review, I'm also a 39"/40" chest but took the advice and ordered a L size and it fits perfectly. This is my first order with Fife Country and rest assured you have changed the way I'll buy my cloting from now on. From a person that doesn't leave reviews!

My first purchase from Hoggs/Fife Country. The sizing is questionable as I ordered a M for my 39/40 chest and it was much too tight. I spoke to Roslyn who sorted it v quickly and the L size is excellent for winter wear with a sweater underneath. Quality seems to be excellent so I ordered a Stenton gilet which is also v good. Excellent service and product

My husband has had the Green Ghillie jacket for a number of years and it is always a go to when the weather turns colder, it is referred to as “The jacket." Although the old one still looks good it was time for a change of colour! Great jacket, warm and waterproof. He highly recommends this jacket.

This is a superb jacket, but do not under estimate how warm it is. I only wear it on the coldest days or days I know I will be standing around for extended periods.

Haven't actually tried this fleece out yet in inclement weather but on receipt, was extremely impressed with the quality and finish of the garment. The quilted interior lining feels lovely and warm and the sleeves have the added bonus of internal wrist grips to keep the wind out. All the zippers are of a robust construction and should last indefinitely. Pleased to see that it was also made in the UK.

Just wanted to let you know how much I love your lined fleece jacket. It is and will be well used up here in the Peak District where I live. I recently bought a Ghillie fleece from you. The fleece was delivered a couple of days after I phoned my order in and arrived well packaged and I was pleased to find the colour and size I had ordered. So that was impressive. I tried out the fleece on a windy day, when I deliberately went out onto an exposed hillside where the wind was blowing strongly. The Ghillie kept me lovely and warm, snug and cosy, so thank you.

A great jacket very warm and comfortable

I bought this recently and was very pleased with it. It arrived by post within a very short time, credit to Fife Country and the Post Office. Very warm and comfortable with good secure pockets. Only found one fault with it, too warm for the weather at the moment so I went online and bought another, lighter, fleece from Fife Country,

Received the garment at last. It's very well made and nicely thick and very warm. It is slightly a shame that now I have it the weather has turned spring like and it will most probably not now be worn again until next winter.

I bought this fleece for my husband (a farmer) and he's so pleased with it he's asked me to order another one! One for the farm, and a smarter one!

I wanted to try this jacket in a normal Canadian Prairie winter. So, out today to test jacket with temperature at -20 degrees C (-27 C with wind-chill). Still remained warm during brisk walk, but this is probably the limit without additional layer. Still love this jacket.

I received the "Ghillie II Jacket" this week and tested it today: temperature of 0 degree C; winter blowing at 30 to 43 kph; wind-chill of -7 degrees C; wearing a Merino wool base layer underneath; and walked outside for at least 45 minutes. I remained 'toasty warm' and did not feel any wind coming through the jacket. Only slight concern is front zipper: when fully zipped-up, tends to irritate neck; but solved with a stylist wool scarf (also a needed accessory during a Prairie Winter). This Jacket is a very good value for me and I expect to use it for years to come. Plus, great advice and service from the folks at Fife Country.

I am very pleased with this so far. It is very warm. Haven't yet tested it in the rain. Originally ordered a large from the sizing table, but it was too big, so returned it for an exchange to medium. This was done within 3 weeks of me sending it back over the Christmas period. Very happy with the service.

I got this jacket to replace a well worn Ghillie fleece. My first impression is that I like the new materials that the outer fleece is made of, I ordered the same size as my previous Fleece (large) whilst the jacket fits it is a tighter fit than the previous one which for me was only slightly too big. Having worn the fleece with only a shirt underneath it I can confirm that it is equally as warm as my previous one even in the recent cold weather. My only issue is that the zip is single opening unlike the Ghillie fleece which opens at the top and bottom, bring back the dual opening.

The adjustable draw cord along the bottom of the coat need to be of a more robust quality . Through use the outer covering of the elastic cord which passes through the plastic retainer causes it to fray. Other than that it is an excellent coat

Just received my Ghillie II jacket in size 3xl which was not green but brown and I have to say that I am very disappointed at the size of this jacket which i was hoping to use for field work but there is no room for movement this is more like a tight fitting 2xl in the real world one good thing about this jacket is the quality which is very good
