Reviews for Waterproof Typhoon Boot

I bought these for shooting, stalking and beating a few years ago. They were less than a third the price of the boots they replaced. So I thought if they last half a season they'd be a saving on the more expensive boots I used to buy and wreck in a single season. These boots are now into their THIRD season and are still warm and dry. They are a bit heavier than my last boots and the soles sometimes clog with mud, but on balance I can live with that for the comfort, dryness and cost. I'd buy them again, but by the look of it, it may be a while until I need to.

A very comfortable, practicable boot at a sensible price. Ideal for both work parties and smart enough for a Shoot Day.

Have just purchased my third pair of these boots. I have tried other brands but nothing compares to comfort and durability of Hoggs. I use them for walking, riding and work and wear them every day,weather permitting. My last pair were 10 years old when I finally had to replace them as I had worn tread from the soles

I was looking for durable waterproof and comfortable boots for some time. Cheaper options from popular brands and retailers never last longer than three months on my nursery. Typhoons are solid, well made and extremely comfortable. From first minutes of wearing them I was amazed how well they fit. And with some dubbin they are waterproof enough for me. And they look good as well!

Initially ordered the rigger boot but style is far to loose on foot for amount of walking I do so did an exchange (via the free returns bag) for this Typhoon boot. The boot is very comfortable and broad enough not to cramp toes. I do have to wear a hiking sock for the prefect fit. I have worn these for several full days now and am delighted with them. The only reason I deducted 1 star is that the boot has eyelets rather than hooks at the top of the boot so a bit of fiddle to tie. Excellent service as well.
