Very pleased with my Stewarton Canvas Coat. Can cope with any weather that Dartmoor throws at it and yet smart enough to wear in 'town'.

I would like to say that my coat is of good quality. Robust and heavy duty material. The zip is sturdy and the pockets deep and thoroughly stitched. Lining warm. Overall a good piece of kit.

Being tired of so called "breathable high end synthetics" which, whilst retaining body heat, also resulted in serious sweat I purchased the Stewarton Canvas Coat. The sturdy canvas exterior offers excellent protection against the strongest of winds whilst the cotton lining ensures breathability and NO SWEAT. At last i am able to enjoy my daily walk in comfort!! Thank you Hoggs for this excellent product.

Good hard wearing coat, warm and waterproof, good fit and comfortable to wear,

Lovely quality jacket. But the sizing is completely wrong. I usually wear a medium in every other maker. I first bought medium: far too big in every dimension. I then bought a small: a lovely fit on chest, shoulders etc. But... far too long in length. On the model the jacket hem is inches above the crotchline, the small is actually inches below my crotchline! As a result I have the stoop to fit my hands in the pockets. Very strange and a great shame. NB: I am a normally proportioned 5'7"

Coat is pleasingly weighty and warm. Particularly like the decent sized pockets to get your hands in.
