Made with a oil/waxy leather. Manages to feel solid without being like lead weights on your feet. Fits true to my size 8 (42) with just about enough room for a thick pair of socks if I want. Super comfortable right out of the box. These don't have a steel toe, but the toe box is very structured. Sole is thick and made from real rubber. Only looses a point because the padded cuff feels synthetic and the eyelets and laces feel a bit cheap and rough. No regrets buying them though.
