I am a sceptic when it comes to buying on line, especially shoes, however I have just taken delivery of my second pair of Fife Country shoes and am equally delighted with this pair as I was with my last ones, several months ago. My shoes are comfortable, fit well and are very waterproof. I will certainly look to Fife Country when I am next looking for shoes, however that will be some time away as I expect my new shoes to last for ages.

I recently purchased a pair of Rothesay Tex Lace shoes in the sale and clearly struck lucky for they are a perfect fit and comfortable from the outset. They look smart enough to wear with a jacket and tie and as they age I will use them increasingly for country walks. They are water proof, they have a luxuriously soft inner sole and a grippy outer. I've bought other stuff - hats and hunting jackets and waterproof trousers - all good for general wear.
