These boots arrived within three days from order, fantastic. As described in catalogue....I walk the Malvern Hills daily. They are a perfect fit. Comfortable with excellent upper support alongside great sole grip. I thoroughly recommend them. Great value for money.

Just received my boots ordered online and as told received within 3 days of dispatch very very happy with this service and the boots are excellent perfect fit so so comfortable I have had Scarpa boots and Meindl boots but these Munro Hiking Boots are just as good if not better and for half the price so nothing but excellent points for these boots

Just to say a massive thank you for the prompt attention I received when ordering a pair of hiking boots. I can go back 45 years when I bought my first pair of hob nailed boots with Hoggs and I can still wear them despite being re soled now and again ! It is always a pleasure dealing over the phone and what I do like is the fact that you can cater for the larger man ie size 13 in boots, so well done. Some time ago I purchased a Rannoch coat, the best coat for rain and wind far superior to more expensive makes so keep up the good work and the compliments of the season to you all.

I’ve had my Munro’s for a good few months now and I’m very pleased with them . They are not the lightest boot but build quality is excellent and your feet feel well supported. I was surprised that they needed no walking in. l did a 12 mile hill walk within a few days of receiving them, with no problems. Having recently bought a pair of Grisport Fuse summer boots , again from Fife Country, I’m set up for all seasons.

I am sending you a review of one pair of Nevis hiker boots (5757) and one pair of Munro classic hiking boots, ordered from your company in June. My partner and I have worn them regularly since then and are very pleased with them. They are comfortable and give us great support, particularly around the ankle area. The soles give us plenty of grip going up and down hilly areas or through muddy areas, which is essential for us as we are both in our eighties. The prices were fair too.

No need to gradually "walk in" these boots. They fit very well and are so comfortable.

I have always struggled with getting good quality waterproof boots for general hiking, nearly every pair I have purchased always leave me with wet feet. These are terrific, the only downside may be the laces may braid on the top two fasteners, not happened yet but worth a thought. I love them. Fife Country is an excellent company to deal with, super fast service and great customer service. My first pair of boots ordered (not these items) were a bit too stiff, returned free of charge and refunded within the week.

I have just received my second pair of Munro hiking boots. I bought a pair two years ago and they are the most comfortable and best walking boots I have ever purchased. I have gone through so many different makes of boots and none of them have lasted even one winter. We live in the country and I use them to walk my dog every day. It gets very wet and muddy and these boots cope with whatever the weather throws at them. They are also completely waterproof and warm, which is a must for my feet. The other plus is that you don’t need to break them in, no rubbing or blisters with these boots. I highly recommend them.

Just received these boots and they were perfect fit at the first try. My husband has already got a pair and been very pleased. Really comfortable, good fit and look great. Brilliant to find a pair of boots that fits after the long hunt for decent boots on a previous occasion.

Size 12 was very slightly tight on one foot (sometimes happens with me) so I swapped for a 13 (catalogue didn't list 13 but person on phone told me they now do it.) So far I've only worn them on two or three short (half-hour) walks, in fairly dry conditions, but I'm very pleased with them. They are comfortable and appear robust. Staff on phone were very helpful and courteous.

Was able to wear straight out of the box, which was a bit of a surprise, given that walking boots usually need bedding in. Initially thought them to be a bit on the heavy side but after a few wears stopped noticing. Look and feel quality so expecting many years of use from these boots. Sure footed over many different terrains. Still early days but very hopeful....

Received the boots within 3 working days of my placing the order. A strong and well cushioned but slightly heavy boot. Was able to wear immediately without any rubbing whatsoever. I have a narrow foot and the boots are a bit on the wide side but this does not interfere at all with my walking (6 to 10 mile hikes). Would definitely recommend them.

I bought these on-line and so tried them on with some nervousness, but they fit beautifully! The cushioned inners made them especially comfortable straight from the off. The description and other reviews definitely do them justice, and at a very competitive price too! They are now one of my favourite items of footwear.

I received these boots today and after trying them on found what a really comfortable fit they were. They were not the lightest boot I have worn but the workmanship is first rate.

I have had these boots for 3 or 4 months and have found them to be very comfortable and robust. They are obviously very well made, very good value for money and I am sure they will last for years. However, because of there sturdy construction, they are very heavy and walking long distances can be tiring. That said, I would still recommend these boots for 5 or 6 mile walks.

I was looking for an everyday robust boot for dog walking. I came across these, they have proven superb, over two years of use, have remained faithful since the day of purchase. They will be my 'go to' boot for dog walking. Comfortable, well made and reasonably priced.

Fit and comfort excellent, despite using saddle soap and nikwax proofer the leather split and parted from sole after 18 months of good use. Imagined they would last a lot longer, will buy another pair when i can afford it.

I received your catalogue and was impressed with what I saw inside and decided to give your company a go, and I ordered a pair of “Munro” walking boots, plus some other products.
I used the telephone order line and found the lady who answered the call, pleasant, helpful and efficient. The order arrived four working days later (would have been three days but I was out when the postman tried to deliver).
Upon opening the box the “Munro” boots appeared to be well made and strong, I tried them on and, it was one of those moments when you know that you have made a good decision, the boots were comfortable, but the real test would come when I started walking the dog.
Today was road test day, I have walked on constructed footpaths (tarmac/concrete), loose dry sand, the beach wet sand and shingle, also rough uneven grassland. The boots were comfortable and the support to the ankle was very good. These are some of the best and most comfortable boots I have bought, (and I have bought, and worn a great many walking shoes and boots over the years).
Despite being the first real occasion I have used these boots, they have not rubbed the ankles or feet, very comfortable.

Bought these boots to replace my Brasher boots - what a great replacement! Comfortable straight out of the box even with my podiatry insoles, the boots have a solid and surefooted grip whether up the Pentland Hills or bouldering along the shoreline around St.Monans. Feet sweat free and fully waterproof. Was disillusioned at the high cost and poor quality of boots on display in many leading outdoor stores so thought I would order these - so pleased I did these boots are beezer and better quality and value!

Old Skool, no-nonsense walking boot with top-notch uppers and tried and tested Vibram sole for all the protection you need for rugged trails or open moorland. Hold their own against boots costing twice as much. I paired them with Sorbothane Double Strike insoles for the ultimate in comfort.

This is my second pair (wore the last out!) A very comfortable fit, waterproof and light. What more could you ask for - and at this price too!!

THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOTS I HAVE EVER HAD

I ordered these boots and was told delivery would be 3-5 days. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive them the following day - what a brilliant service. They immediately felt very comfortable and on close inspection are very well made. Their first test is this weekend as I tramp around wet & muddy Welsh forests watching the World Rally Championship. I'll review again with how they perform. First impressions are excellent.

These are very robust boots - which are lighter than I expected. So doubly good for my purposes of walking in wet and often heavy conditions.

Walking my hound every day, in the country, off the ready path, across field, through stream, rain and shine, takes its toll on a boot. It is a test of durability, water-resistance and comfort. I am knocked-out by my new Munro's, they are a work of art! Excellent comfort, sure-footed - have no fear - and handsome too (I know they thrill all who behold as I clomp about). Yes I can proclaim: these are the best boots I have ever had the pleasure within which to cosset my plates (of meat). Champion! Additionally I can report that the after-sales service at Fife Country is of the highest standard (and friendly too).

Not only did they honour the discount code I'd found online giving me 10% off plus free postage, when the boots arrived they had included a pre-paid envelope in the box in case I decided to return them. First impressions, they are a well made product and seem like a good fit as to the water resistance and comfort only time will tell but I will be wearing them tomorrow. A good buy!

The munro hiking boot is the most comfortable walking boot I've ever owned. The boot is extremely well made. The first time I wore them I immediately found them comfortable. I have been wearing them now for a few months and they remain unbeatable for comfort and price.
