I am more than delighted with my purchase of this field jacket. It has more than enough pockets, as I need them for when I am walking my spaniel over the wolds, and field work,the fabric is soft enough to mould to my body so as to make it very comfortable.I would recommend that you add on up to 4 inches on your chest size as it gives more moveability I am 46 inches across my chest and I had xxl size.I would also like to say that the customer service was excellent gold star in fact and the delivery came the next day. This company is one that will not worry about ordering on the internet as their reputation speaks for it self. Thank you once again.

Just taken delivery of my Ranger jacket in size XXL. First impressions are of a very good quality jacket with plenty of features including numerous useful pockets to keep my bits and pieces in! I like the feel of the material which is non rustle. And the edges of the pockets in high wear areas should stand the rigours of test of time. Importantly, the fit is generous as described by Hoggs. I am not a shooter but work as a Field Ecologist in forestry, on farmland and in the uplands of mid Wales, so ease of movement is very important to me. I have yet to wear it in heavy rain, so I cannot comment on the waterproof element. I'll post another review once tested in sideways rain!! My only immediate concern is the press studs. I have previously purchased a moleskin jacket from Fife and had a couple of the studs come out of the material. However, the material the Ranger is made from looks far more robust than the moleskin. Received in post within two days. Excellent. In summary, very pleased with my purchase.

Waterproof roomy and feels great to wear so comfortable!

Delighted with the (X3) jacket which more than adequately replaces an ancient Barbour. It has a soft texture but is very sturdy and the addition of the removable fleece waistcoat makes it all-weather versatile. Next day delivery also appreciated.

The jacket not only offers exceptional value but also well thought out features. The shaped cartridge pockets with straps in the handwarmer pockets to keep the flap open for easy access. Poachers pocket, removable inner waterproof pouch and pocket. Removable hood and lots more.

This is a great jacket with all the features you need in a field coat. Have the full set now with the trouser to match and hope they don't discontinue it as it would take some beating.

A fantastic field coat. My coat has no faux suede on front storm flap slightly different than the picture in the catalogue, I wore the coat today in sub zero temperature's really good result's !!

Just received my new coat and worn it for first time today to take my dog for his walk in freezing weather coat lovely and warm kept out the wind and snow just as said on the description

Very impressed with overall quality, sizing spot on-I'm 43 chest L fits perfectly. This recent cold snap -7'C better with jumper on over shirt for arms sake as zip in under garment has no arms. Hand warmer pockets marvellous.Roomy other pockets. Best coat I've ever had.

Good quality coat. Pity the zip is a bit Agricultural, had to use some dry suit zip wax to make it run smoothly.

Excellent coat, my father has had this coat for over four years, and it is still waterproof, after trying a couple of others, I have to admit this is better than the rest. Excellent customer service as well.

I have tried many different makes over the years and to be honest I have never really found one in particular that seems to tick all the boxes, this is pretty damn close to perfect (for me at least) I heartily recommend this for warmth, comfort & fit. Made well, stylish - and very robust, I think it will last and last.

After the slight delay caused by me ordering the wrong size it is already chilly enough for me to wear my new Ranger 3 in 1 Jacket, I think I can now retire my battered 30 year old Barbour! As usual an excellent product by Hoggs. I have several of your products including the amazing Ghille Fleece which is the warmest outdoor garment I have ever owned.rn
