I had a similar issue to another reviewer. Ordered three pairs of trousers which were too small in the waist. Either I have put on weight or the sizes seem small. Swapped them over and am now very happy. Will use these a lot.

Ordered two pairs of jeans, first ones to long, re-ordered. Next two pairs PERFECT could have been made to measure, very polite and prompt service. excellent company to deal with highly recommend.

Having never bought a pair of moleskin trousers I wasn’t sure what to expect. Very pleasantly surprised. They are very soft but strong and comfortable. Perfect for casual use and looking forward to testing them out for country walks.

I ordered and received these jeans only to find to my disappointment that I had ordered the wrong length. Completing the returns form was simple and easy and I returned the package on the day I received it. Less than a week later I received the correct size of jeans, and can now enjoy wearing these smart, warm and comfortable moleskin jeans.

Ordered two pairs but unfortunately the sizing was wrong, returned both pairs for a larger size which are perfect, very good customer service. I would recommend going up to the next size on these as the waist size is smaller than normal.

Lovely jeans. Well made and very nice moleskin material. I was very disappointed to find the sizing completely wrong. I think they must have had the wrong sizing label. I normally wear a 34 or 36 waist. These were supposed to be a 36 but were nowhere near that. Far too small. So had to send them back. I’ll probably call in to the shop at some point when I’m back in Fife and try some on first. Also disappointed I have to pay for the return postage.

Would help if Fife added actual leg length rather than M or L- I'm a very average 5' 10" with Ernie Wise length legs and M was too short in the leg- thought at first maybe they'd sent the wrong ones. Sent back and exchanged for a L which are perfect, so not sure how anyone taller will get a fit. But fabric and quality seem great so very pleased with my two pairs. 5 stars for quality and price, lose a star for confusing sizing.

In any other make of jeans I take a 36L, but although these are supposed to be 36L, the waist was far too small, but if I change to a 38L the hips and thighs would be very baggy. This is not the first time I have experienced this with trousers from this company. The same thing happened with their moleskin trousers, and stupidly I returned the 36 for a 38, with the result that although the waist now fits, the rest is very baggy and not smart or for that matter comfortable to wear. I should also have returned the 38. I will not be buying any more trousers or jeans online in future.

They are well made however their sizes don't add up to any other brand I am a 32 waist in all brands yet when ordered I can't even get the fly or button half way. I have re ordered them 2 sizes bigger at my own expense of postage. I have bought many things like jumpers and sizing is fine but trousers are strange

They are a perfect fit and robustly constructed in heavyweight moleskin. Just what I wanted and expected from Fife Country.

Nowadays one cannot always be sure on sizes but these moleskin trousers were a good fit for the size which I ordered. They are also warm, hardwearing, practical and smart casual as well

I purchased 2 pairs of mole skin jeans, on arrival I found them to be tight in the waist. After speaking to a very helpful young lady on the phone she advised me to return them for the next size up. The jeans were returned and replacements sent within the week and postage paid by Fife Country. I think the sizes are a little tight in the waist so if you are in doubt go for the next size up. I am pleased to buy a pair of Moleskin Jeans to replace a pair that lasted many years of incredibly hard use. This is a tough, hard wearing material which is comfortably warm in the winter.

These are a class act. Top quality moleskin material made into an excellent product. I have bought these for years. They are superbly well made, very hard wearing, very stylish and good value for money. I find them equally at home being worn for a days shooting, walking in the Lakes or wearing them to just go down to the Pub! Warm in winter and surprisingly cool in the summer. I recommend you try them.

Excellent quality - traditional moleskin standard!

A really well made and comfortable pair of jeans. They look great, my only comment is that odd sized waist measurements would be useful, I chose the 32in waist, which fits fine but is a little snug, however with this type of material and fit I'm sure the 34in would be too large. So 33in please !

Now have all three colours, these are good hard wearing jeans that wash well, and look good for casual wear, very prompt delivery.

At last I receive a good quality product with a good fit and an excellent delivery service, will certainly be buying more.

I returned these jeans as they were too baggy. I have a 33 inch waist so I ordered the 34 inch jeans, The waist was a comfortable fit but everywhere else was just too baggy.

I wanted to buy some moleskin trousers for my dad. He had worn Hoggs of Fife for many years and we could not get them locally as the supplier had closed down. I entered Hoggs of Fife on google search and came across Fife Country, I ordered the trouseres and he was very pleased. I had seen the moleskin jeans too on the website recently and decided to order some for my husband who has been looking for some warm winter jeans for ages. I rang instead of ordering online, I like to be able to talk to someone who knows the product and can answer any questions I may have about exchange or refunds etc so I could have bought them £5 cheaper and also receive a 10% discount if I ordered with another company but wanted to stick to the company I was completely sure of. The jeans arrived just 2 days later and my husband is thrilled to bits. Fife Country is spot on with its fantastic range of clothes and spot on with friendly efficient customer service.

Now that winter is here, even down here in Essex, I’m so glad of the moleskin jeans I purchased from your company recently.

The jeans are very well made, fit perfectly and are very warm, being almost impervious to the cold north wind.

Furthermore, the ordering process was very straightforward and your website was very user-friendly. Unlike many of your competitors, a 33in leg measurement was available in this product, and the delivery was very efficient.
Needless to say, the price was competitive - an important factor now that I am retired from my work as an agronomist.

It will not be a ‘deal breaker’ for the future, but I would have liked to have the country of origin on the label, since I prefer to support manufacturers in the UK, especially in Scotland, as I have family (and ancestors!) in Scotland.

Wanted winter trousers that looked good and felt warm. Ordered two pairs in navy, was very impressed, so I got two pairs in lovat. Must say the quality is superb and the fit is excellent. Bought these for my husband several years ago and now have quite a selection, having bought more pairs for the coming winter. Easily the best on the market. The sizing, as others have commented, is not generous and we always go up a size but they are super to wear, even at sub-zero Northern Norway temperatures. Shame they don't come in black!!

I have four pairs of these jeans as I was so pleased with the quality and the offer. The jeans are very accurately sized. If you are a tight 36" waist go up to the next size. The material is beautifully soft and thick. The jeans look very good on. I have washed them in accordance with instructions and they have come up great. Very, very pleased. Highly recommended.

My third pair arrived yesterday, first class service well under a week from placing the order, I now have a complete set all three colours! The first two pairs have now been worn and washed and come up as good as new so I am looking forward to getting out and about in the navy pair.

I ordered tow pairs of Moleskin Jeans and I selected a size one down from what I should have done! The returns procedure was very easy. The speed of the replacements was amazing. My six year old pair were just starting to look tired and seem baggier than the new ones!

I now have five pairs of these jeans in all available colours. Two in the dark olive. They are warm,comfortable and look good. I am 5ft 10 and regular is a good length on me . I do have the 34 waist instead of 32[my usual waist] as they seem a small 32. Great jeans!

Excellent value for money. Like other reviewers I purchased two pairs on offer. The quality is head and shoulders above other similar product heavily advertised elsewhere. If the quality is representative of your whole range of clothing and footwear, I'll be back!

These are excellent. The sizing is accurate, but more importantly the cut and style are first class. They sit just above the hips, which is just where jeans should sit. There is a little play in them to allow for freedom of movement but they look street-smart so you could go straight from the outdoors and into a pub/restaurant for something restorative. Dress them up with tan brogues and you've got a good look.
Ordering was simple and straightforward and the jeans arrived within 3 days of ordering.

I've been wearing Hoggs moleskin jeans for years and recently took advantage of the offer price for 2 pairs. I found the fit had changed with more of a comfort fit rather than the slim fit I'd been used to. Not a problem, in fact, an even better fit. They look and feel great. They wear well and even when almost worn out they still look the part

Excellent quality, first class fit. Will order this product in the future. However , delivery charge to Denmark £18.90 actual cost £11.39. A review of your delivery charges should be revewed.

The one size bigger that you sent as a replacement for the original order(my default size for my trousers) is a perfect fit. The quality , cut and comfort are brilliant. I am very pleased with them and look forward to ordering other colours - at a one size bigger.

20 years I have been wearing this style. These are by far the best comfiest moleskins yet.

I bought a pair a few years ago but they have now shrunk , I am still the same size so not a case of my waist expanding !

Just tried these on for the first time and they are the most comfortable moleskins I've ever owned! Quality of stitching is also excellent. A couple of extra colours would be good.
