I'm very pleased with my order from Fife Country. I've placed 2 orders in the last month, both came within 3 days and both orders I'm very happy with.

I’ve just received an Arran Fleece-lined shirt to add to the two Fleece-lined shirts I bought a few weeks ago.
These are all really brilliant – the colours are great, the fit is good, the quality looks excellent, but , most important they’ve kept me really warm and comfortable during this cold winter. And with the sale price they are very good value.
My orders were dealt with very efficiently and the delivery took very little time.
I’ve never bought from Fife Country before these 2 orders, but for outdoor wear I can’t think of anywhere better.

I have just received a Boxwood fleece lined shirt for my 89th birthday. It is soft, warm and looks a treat, a bit big on the shoulders, but that is me.

In reply to your request for comments included in with my recent order of two lined shirts, I can only say how delighted I am and have been wearing them everyday since. I bought one for my husband a year or so ago to keep him warm during his illness. He loved it. He died a few months ago and although two sizes too large for me I tried wearing it. I saw an advert in the Sunday Times magazine and decided it was just what I needed, in a smaller size.

I have just received my second beautifully made fleece-lined shirt. I am a 78 year old pensioner and as we no longer receive the winter fuel payment, warm layers are essential. This shirt, which I wear as an over shirt, is a perfect fit and keeps me toasty! I can't thank you enough!

great shirts.......I bought two....at the reduced price of £27 each. This is unbeatable value. I have been a customer for many years and have purchased sweaters, socks, moleskin trousers and cords and coats.........never had any reason to be less than pleased. Highly recommended.

This is my second such shirt, bought for a choice of colour. The fit, M, on my slim six-foot frame is perfect. The cotton outside is soft and smooth, irons easily (I dodge the sleeves) the colours are bright and distinct. The shoulder seams lie flat, welcome under backpack straps. The inner fleece is warm and does not crease against the cotton outer. I appreciate the 40 cotton wash, which is preferable for clothes worn outdoors. As you see, I am pleased with these two shirts.

Thank you for such a prompt delivery of 2 medium fleece lined shirts. They are of excellent quality & colours blackthorn& bramble wine so reminiscent of my husband’s Scottish childhood.

These fleece lined shirts are very good even for a retired person living in the south of England, as smart warm casual wear. Have many items from Fife Country and these are up there with the best for warmth and comfort, delivery normally only a few days from placing the order.

I was so impressed with the warmth of my first fleece lined shirt that I have now bought a second. Excellent when outside with my camera during the winter months.

This is my third fleece lined shirt all different colours. I find these very comfortable and excellent at keeping the winter chill out. Very fast Delivery as well.

I got my first shirt for my March birthday two years ago, I bought my second & third ready for the start of the next winter - they are my automatic choice for everything outdoors for the Scottish weather during the darker months. Just the job!.

I got two of these for Christmas (I did ask for them) and have since found them to be both comfortable and toasty warm. I've been wearing them over just a t shirt outside on walks and anything else and they have proved to be all they are supposed to be. I've had more overheating in 3 or 4 degrees than I have being cold. Easy to recommend if you want a warm smart shirt for an outer layer.

Never tried one of these shirts before, thought I would risk one with winter approaching, arrived within 3 days, Excellent fit , very warm and most comfortable shirt I have ever had, .So impressed I ordered two more, these shirts are brilliant value for money.

As an ex police officer I am tall and usually have no problem with XL products including sleeve length. However the fleece shirts I purchased from you are dreadfully short in the sleeves making it uncomfortable and tight in the back when I lean forward or stretch my arms to the steering wheel . Otherwise I love the shirts. I contacted you to ask for matching material to have an alteration done but was advised that you couldn’t provide. I asked for address of the manufacturer to buy some direct but again was told you couldn’t provide that either. So I’ve had to buy 2 more shirts in the same pattern and will take them to a local alterations shop to have the sleeves extended by 3 inches. It’s not my intention to leave a poor review as I love the shirts and look forward to wearing them this winter but I merely post an honest review for your info and the benefit of others.

Recently bought another of the fleece lined shirts for my husband. He loves them and they keep him so warm. I have to go a size larger. They wash well and need hardly any ironing - good folding will do. The ordering on line is often slow when one gets to the payment.

I have now 4 shirts and I find them extremely warm but I have one problem, on my latest shirts,the button hole are that small I can hardly remove the buttons.

Leyburn where I live has a deserved reputation for being a windy hole - these shirts easily beat this. Long in the body very warm lined shirts - I now own 4! They have stood up well to several washes.

I have just taken delivery of my second order of these shirts in two months, I was so pleased with the first order - I now have four. They are brilliant and with the colder weather I now wear them all the time. Beautifully warm, good colours and a very good price. If you don't have any of these and you feel the cold, you should order some right away. The catalogue picture gives a false impression that it's only an over shirt - I wear them every day as ordinary shirts and stay warm all day.

Perfect fit and another quality product from Fife Country

I have just tried my shirt and I know it is not yet Winter but I think this shirt is the best I have ever Had. I am 79 years old and am starting to feel the cold more. I cannot wait for your Blackthorn coloured one to be available so I can buy 2 More and 1 extra for My Son in Law for Christmas who also suffers from the cold.

After reading your advert in Radio Times I sent for two fleece-lined shirts for my son-in-law who is always cold- at last he is warm and no need for extra layers. The shirts are well made, smart and reasonable priced, they wash well but need quite a while to dry and air. I ordered two more which came within three days. Excellent quality and fit of the fleece-lined shirts, efficiently dealt with and safely delivered.

Cosy fit, ie tailored to my body! Used to having a looser fit , but as a result is both smart and warm with a thin base layer, and enough room to move, so does the job. If you like a looser fit you may want to go up size!

I recently purchased three of your fleece lined shirts in bramble, bark and beech. These are such good quality garments that I felt it quite necessary that I complete the set by purchasing the Birch.

I bought a couple of these Fife Country insulated shirts just before Christmas and they are really rather good.

Cold wash, which works for me and they dry out very quickly when hung up downstairs.

Winter will be with us for another couple of months so these will be 'punt' worth going for.

I’ve bought two of these in M, I’m a 38 chest. They fit well but the sleeves are so short I have to wear them unbuttoned at the cuffs.

This is the second time I have bought these shirts for my husband. He feels the cold, but dosen't like to have to wear big bulky clothes to keep warm. These shirts fit well with enought room for a vest or tea shirt under them. Look good worn as an open shirt, or done up to keep the warmth in. They wash up well and feel nice to wear. Excellant value for money, when bought as a special offer.

I have now purchased 4 of these fleece shirts for my husband and cannot praise the quality and fit enough. Fleece lining is very high quality and does not bobble or sag after wash, on a 30 deg only wash. Very warm but breathable and good with a shirt underneath or even thermal vest if colder. Customer service was helpful when ordering the fleece when out of stock and took payment details etc and sent when back in stock. Well done, excellent service all round.

I found these shirts to be warm and comfortable to wear during this cooler temperatures and well worth the money. I bought one of each colour, two in the large size and two in the medium size. My first observation is that there seems to be a significant difference in the two sizes, I am unfortunately in between sizes. The second observation is that of the two large sizes one cuff fastens easily on the tightest position but the second only just fastens on the loosest position. Perhaps a little more attention to quality control on the finished item is called for. Despite these observations I would still recommend these shirts to others.

This is the warmest winter shirt I've ever had. Furthermore it feels good and looks good, especially the blue one. It also dries incredibly quickly.

Wonderfully warm and not bulky, they would look really smart when worn with a tie. They do not need ironing. Sadly, though I purchased large ones, which usually gives me a good fit, the collars are too tight. It would be good if the pocket were deep enough to hold a mobile phone securely. (I use a Samsung S6 which is about the average size)

Wearing my shirt for the first time today size XL, the fit is roomy in general but the shirt is tight around the collar so I will be unable to wear a tie I usually have a 16 and half to 17 size this one feels around size 16, apart from the fitting problem the quality is good and it looks very smart. I would certainly purchase another if I can get the fit right.

I have searched for a fleeced, well tailored shirt of Classic design, lightweight yet very warm, suitable for the drinks party as well as the howling mountainside, for ages. I just thought that you might like my comments on the two shirts that i have bought from you.

I've been a civil engineer all my life, who has been much involved with maintenance and operations, so I am very conscious of doing a job only once i.e. does a product 'do what it says on the tin'. I am also a 'rugga' fan of my local club, thus even here in the 'softy south' it does get rather parky standing on the terraces, when the wind doth blow down from your part of the country.

I bought one of your lined shirts some weeks ago and I found that I have put on a bit more weight than I had realised, so I had to request a larger size and the swop arrived quickly. My wife commented that it looks 'pretty country macho'. I have worn it a fair bit and it was lovely and warm. The next test then comes in finding out what happens when its been thru the washing machine and, now that my wife is disabled, I have to do the ironing, so I want easy care and I can comment that I didn't need to iron it at all and it looks like new! The shirt was on offer, but even at the full price is very competitive.

Even a cynic like me is satisfied with the whole package as being what i had hoped for and good value for money. To prove that opinion, I am right now wearing the the repeat order of last week. With the snow still falling here, I shall most certainly be wearing this shirt tomorrow.
