Had these for a couple of years now. No problem breaking in. Great support from a well made brogue. I am an F fitting but I found this wide fitting was fine. As they wear in they look even better.

Bought these a couple of months ago comfortable from the beginning needed minimal breaking in. Bought polish in a shop that trades in brogues and was complimented on the quality of my shoes. Their equivalent were much more expensive!

A wonderful heavyweight country brogue, as you'd expect from a shoe made on the Loake 'penine' last. The quality is first class, the G fitting ensures that even with a heavy sock it is really comfortable from the off. The shoes are weatherproof, built to last and yet this is still a very smart looking shoe made from premium quality leather. Recommended without reservation.

I bought these shoes as they came on the market last year. Well made and as bonnie as they come. I usually take a 9.5 but the 9 fits well(they're wide fitting and roomy). Word of advice for those with low set ankle bones. The shoe edges are quite high and will reek havoc on you ankle bones. I use moleskin protector for the upper edges with great success. Also, the customer service at Fife Country is second to none (to none).
