For a boot that is supposed to be rugged, robust and made for country living, this is an extremely disappointing product. rnrnWithin 10 months of moderate wear in a country environment both heels had split from the body of the boot as the glue didn't hold them. Hoggs commendably agreed to repair them free of charge and included a tin of polish which was a nice touch. However, just back from first 30 minute forest walk since receiving them by post and the heels are already starting to come away again.rnrnSave your money and buy something else or, probably better, invest in a more expensive hand made pair with stitched soles; glued soles simply don't last. If you are after a boot to wear walking dogs and out and about in the country, these are not fit for purpose.rnrnProbably do a job for occasional town wear however that's about all.
