Ordered the ballater leather mule slippers and they are so comfortable and warm, worth every penny.

When I received my latest purchase from you of a pair of Ballater leather mules it occurred to me that it must be about half a century since I bought the first pair of shoes from you. It was back in the day when you had a card index of all our measurements from my first visit in, I think, 1974, and after that I would just ring up (I live on the Isle of Lewis) and you'd send me the correct size. All my 'formal' leather shoes since then have come from you and the two pairs I wear currently have lasted daily wear more years than I can remember. I still have a pair bought some years ago in anticipation that haven't even been worn yet. Now that I'm well in my seventies my favourite outdoor trousers in the winter are your Bushwhacker Thermal Trousers: cannae whack 'em.
