A New Look for Fife Country
To celebrate our 125th year and the launch of our Autumn 2014 collection, we are delighted to share our new logo with our customers. After more than a decade with the mountain logo, we wanted a fresh look that represents our Scottish heritage and love of the great outdoors. The new logo uses our updated corporate colours and follows the green and purple tones of the Highlands, whilst incorporating an eagle, one of the iconic symbols of Scotland, a mark of quality and the promise of escaping to the wild.
“Our new logo better communicates what Fife Country stands for today, its long Scottish heritage and our love of the outdoors, which drives us to develop and source high quality clothing and footwear, ideal for all aspects of country life. My great grandfather Andrew Hogg started the business over 125 years ago and was a great outdoorsman, and I know he would approve of the eagle, a symbol of Scotland.” said Robert Gibson our Managing Director and great grandson of the original founder Andrew T Hogg.
The Fife Country shop in Strathmiglo, which has been trading since the beginning of the 1900’s, will also see the benefit of the rebranding, with a new look for the outside and a planned extension into the second floor, offering even more choice to our customers.
Designed in collaboration with design agency DJH our new brand identity represents the company’s heritage and the new visual identity reflects not only the high standards of the products we offer but the ongoing commitment to provide the friendly, knowledgeable, high quality customer service that our customers expect.
Let us know what you think….
i ordered a pair of greenking overtrousers on receipt they are far to long my inside leg is 29 you stated your supplies only give size 32 i expect you get a lot of pairs returned as far to long you need to stock all lengths or your business will be getting bad reviews
I recently ordered a pair of Cairn waterproof hiking shoes.I was a bit worried that they might not be a good fit. I am pleased to say that they are so comfortable it is like walking on feather pillows
I have to- day received my order of two pairs of moleskin trousers and I must confess that I could not be more pleased with them. Just one very small detail that I would wish you to consider is that the pocket lining should be rounded and not have corners in them as this can lead to small objects getting stuck in the corners. Me being a Yorkshire man, I find it very important to have deep pockets. Other than that I am a 100% happy chappy and looking forward to placing another order with you very soon.
