I bought a pair of size 9 Jasons in 2011 as gardening and general country boots and I am still wearing them. The sole of the right boot has split slightly from digging, but still keeps out water. I have only three slight niggles: first the top eyelet above the speed-lacing hooks is annoying(I don’t use it); second, the lining is a bit too warm in the summer, but still usable; third, there was considerable salt staining when they first got really wet, which left permanently raised areas just beneath the ankles.

Ordered this in the sale; it's a really nice boot but too narrow for my feet even in size 12! The good news is that returns are really easy & customer service is second to none, that's why I'll keep coming back.

I'm just bought my third pair of these in a row because they are excellent. Each pair has lasted about 4-5 years. I wear them virtually every day, sometimes all day, for gardening, DIY and dog walking. The leather is on a par, if not better, than premium hill-walking boots I have had. I've never had a problem with the stitching, the lining or the welt. I tend to wear out the toecap of the right foot boot with kneeling on hard ground and scuffing it. If it wasn't for that, I might still be on my original pair. Very good value for money.

My new Hogg Jason work boots are fantastic quality. It's clear that they are built to last and although robust, they were very comfortable when I first tried them on. That said, after one hour of constant walking they have rubbed a sore on the side of my lower instep where the ankle cuff meets the inner boot. I'm not too worried about this. Strong, tough boots often need a bit of breaking in so don't expect to buy these and wear them in all-day comfort from day-one. However, you will be rewarded with patience... they are a great boot and excellent value for money.

My new boots arrived very promptly and I've had them on all day. They look like they'll stick all my shepherding and farming abuse.

We get these boots all the time, we wouldn't wear any other boot, they are comfortable, hard wearing, waterproof and very good value for money. Will buy again and again!

I recently bought a pair of Jason Work Boots which feel a little heavy but with the padded inside they feel like your wearing slippers! Also staff on the end of the phone are polite and helpful if you have any queries.
And that lovely oiled leather smell from the boots is wonderful.

This is the first pair of work boots that I have bought and I was expecting some initial discomfort during the breaking-in stage. However, they were very comfortable from the off - and remain so. The boots look good, are sturdy and of a high quality.

Good comfy tough boot - but because of padded inner you need a larger size than normal - an option of a wider fit or half sizes would help

A great boot. As good a warm boot for very cold conditions as money can buy. Very comfortable and easy to get on and off. At £55 pounds I doubt if you'll get better. This is my second pair of Hoggs and both were superb.
