<\/a>The Royal Highland Show is without question Scotland\u2019s most vibrant showcase of farming, food and countryside.\u00a0 A multi-award winning event, the RHS is one of Scotland best-loved events regularly attracting audiences upwards of 175,000 over four days.<\/p>\n

The RHASS was established in 1784 to promote the trade, agriculture, poetry, language and music of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Today, it is principally known for the Royal Highland Show but its activities cover much more. \u00a0In addition to making awards and grants, the Society has a strong educational role in promoting all aspects of rural life in Scotland including agriculture, horticulture and forestry. The Royal Highland Education Trust fulfils this role through links with Scottish schools.<\/p>\n

A visit to the \u201cHighland\u201d is the best way to experience the rich diversity of rural Scotland \u2013 from prize-winning livestock, the latest farm machinery, fine food and drink, outdoor living and countryside, traditional rural skills, renewable energy, music, cookery demonstrations, forestry events, handcrafts, children\u2019s discovery centre, heavy horses, show-jumping, motor zone and shopping arcades just a few of the attractions.<\/p>\n

Show Opening Times and Ticket Prices: Thursday: 07.00 \u2013 20.00. Friday and Saturday: 08.00 \u2013 20.00. Sunday: 08.00 \u2013 18.30. Admission price on all four days is \u00a325 with concessions at \u00a320 available for senior citizens and students. All children under 15 accompanied by an adult go free. There are \u201cearly bird\u201d discounts available at \u00a322 and \u00a318. Car parking is \u00a38 per day.
