Incident one. I was at Bristol airport waiting to get a flight to Belfast at about 6.20 in the morning. Just gone through the security check and was getting my things together and I was approached by a young lady, probably twenty years younger than me, who lent towards me and said ‘You look gorgeous!’ I was taken aback to say the least. I am a full blooded male but this was such a surprise that it left me speechless. I suppose amongst the sea of conventional charcoal and blue suits worn by the other chaps going over on business I did stand out. It made my day. In fact it made my month!
Incident two. Dressed pretty much the same on a train between Leicester and Birmingham. Sat gawping out of the window waiting for the ticket collector. As he clipped my ticket and handed it back to me he said ‘May I congratulate you on your mode of dress sir. My father had been a tailor and I was taught by him what looks good and you look very well attired’. Great!! I have found at last the look that I have wanted for years. It looks good. It feels good. And by golly it does you good!
Hopefully an order for suit number two will soon be on its way to you.
